The SN65HVD1050D RS-485 Transceiver is a robust 3.3V CAN Transceiver designed for reliable data transmission in industrial environments. Featuring a single driver and receiver for Half-Duplex RS-485 communication, it directly interfaces with microcontrollers and supports up to 32 nodes on a bus. Operating at 3.3V with a supply range of 3–3.6V, it excels in harsh conditions, functioning from -40°C to 125°C. Ideal for industrial automation, process control, and building management systems, this transceiver offers high noise immunity, low power consumption, and ESD protection up to ±16kV. However, its half-duplex design limits simultaneous bidirectional communication. While lacking battery or screen features, it ensures long-distance communication up to 1200 meters, making it optimal for noise-prone, extended-range applications.
