The TRD-SH720B Stepper Driver, also known as the SH720B Motor Controller, is designed to efficiently drive TRD Series Stepper Motors in industrial automation and robotics. It features 2 digital inputs and 2 open-collector outputs, supporting direct integration with PLCs, encoders, and sensors. Equipped with RS-485 and CANopen interfaces, it ensures seamless communication in multi-axis systems. Operating at 12-48VDC, it functions reliably within -20°C to +70°C, making it ideal for manufacturing, packaging, and CNC machinery. Key advantages include microstepping up to 25600 steps/rev for ultra-smooth motion and adaptive current control for reduced motor heating. The compact design lacks onboard battery support or display, requiring external configuration tools. Its NPN/PNP-compatible inputs accommodate proximity sensors with detection ranges up to 5mm, while the rugged housing ensures durability in harsh environments.
