The TRD-SH10B encoder is a robust incremental rotary encoder designed for industrial automation, motion control, and robotics applications. It features dual-channel (A/B) quadrature output with a Z-index pulse, supporting direct connection to PLCs, drives, and controllers via open-collector or line-driver interfaces. Operating at 5-24V DC, it functions reliably in temperatures from -20°C to 85°C. This rotary encoder SH10B offers selectable resolutions up to 1000 pulses per revolution, enabling precise angular measurement with ±0.1° accuracy. Its compact 10mm shaft and IP54-rated housing ensure durability in harsh environments. While lacking absolute positioning, the incremental encoder TRD series excels in speed monitoring and relative positioning tasks. The stainless steel construction and shielded cable provide EMI resistance, though it requires external counter systems for position retention during power loss.
