Product Description

The LM-M42 Linear Module is a precision-driven 304 Stainless Steel Actuator designed for industrial automation and motion control applications. Featuring a 1K Stroke Linear Motor, it delivers a maximum travel distance of 1000 mm with high positional accuracy. The module integrates 4 digital inputs and 2 analog outputs, supporting direct expansion with up to 8 external I/O modules via RS-485 or CAN bus interfaces. Operating within a voltage range of 24-48V DC and a temperature tolerance of -10°C to +55°C, it is ideal for harsh environments such as food processing, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductor manufacturing. Its 304 stainless steel construction ensures corrosion resistance, while the direct-drive linear motor eliminates mechanical backlash. However, the system’s higher initial cost and weight (due to rugged materials) may require reinforced mounting. A built-in optical encoder enables sub-millimeter detection accuracy over its full stroke.
