Product Description

The LM-20*1.5-2K-XY system integrates a precision LM-20 linear motion guide with a 1.5mm lead ball screw, forming a compact 2K-XY positioning stage designed for dual-axis micro-positioning applications. It features two independent axes, each accepting pulse/direction or analog voltage inputs (12-48VDC) to drive stepper or servo motors, with encoder feedback outputs for closed-loop control. The stage supports direct integration with modular drivers and PLCs via RS-485 or CAN interfaces, operating reliably across -10°C to 50°C in industrial automation, semiconductor handling, and optical alignment. Its rigid aluminum frame ensures ±2μm repeatability under 20kg dynamic loads, while the low-friction LM-20 guide and high-efficiency ball screw enable smooth motion at speeds up to 500mm/s. Drawbacks include sensitivity to particulate contamination and limited 150x150mm travel range. Optional integrated linear scales provide 0.1μm resolution for critical metrology tasks.
