Product Description

The ME2C-507-23GM-NIR sensor is a high-performance NIR proximity sensor from the ME2C series photoelectric sensor lineup. Designed for industrial automation, packaging, and material handling, it operates on a 10-30V DC supply and features a robust housing with IP67 protection for harsh environments. This NIR sensor detects objects within a range of 50-700mm using near-infrared light, ideal for low-reflectivity surfaces or dark conditions. It includes 1 digital output (PNP/NO/NC configurable) and integrates an IO-Link interface for direct connectivity with PLCs and control systems. With a wide operating temperature range (-25°C to +55°C), it ensures reliable performance in extreme conditions. Advantages include high precision, resistance to ambient light interference, and easy alignment via visible alignment marks. However, its detection range may vary slightly with highly transparent or irregularly shaped objects. The compact design and M18 threaded housing enable flexible installation in space-constrained applications.
