Product Description

The NI8-M18-ON6L is a robust M18 ON6L inductive proximity switch designed for industrial automation applications. As an NI8-M18-ON6L sensor, it features a standard M18 threaded cylindrical housing with a sensing range of 6mm, operating on a 10-30V DC supply and rated for temperatures between -25°C to +70°C. This normally open (NO) sensor provides a single-channel NPN output, compatible with PLCs and control modules via direct wiring. Ideal for metal object detection in machinery, automotive, and material handling systems, it offers IP67-rated durability against dust and moisture. Its compact M18 size enables easy installation in tight spaces. While delivering high switching accuracy and repeatability, its fixed sensing distance limits adaptability to variable-range applications.
